After over a year of hard work, we’re thrilled to announce that LunchBot will officially launch on April 1, 2025! We’ve spent countless hours refining our AI-powered meal selection system, optimizing logistics, and working with food providers to ensure quality and variety. We can’t wait to bring a smarter lunch solution to offices!
We’re officially starting operations in Yerevan, and our next expansion city is already in discussion. Gyumri is a strong candidate within Armenia, but our ultimate goal is to launch in Toronto. This decision will depend on funding, logistics, and our progress in the Canadian startup ecosystem.
As we refined our platform, we realized that LunchBot had the potential to succeed beyond Armenia. With Canada’s diverse food culture, busy professionals, and strong tech environment, we decided to expand our startup there. We applied to the YEDI program to gain mentorship and resources for launching LunchBot internationally.
After months of brainstorming, we started turning the concept into reality. We chose best technologies for backend and frontend development and built a RESTful API to make the platform scalable. Our first prototype was rough, but it proved the idea could work. The long hours, testing, and debugging were challenging, but we knew we were onto something exciting.
The idea for LunchBot came from a simple yet frustrating daily problem — deciding what to eat for lunch. As a software developer, I wanted a smart solution to handle this decision for me. I also noticed that many of my colleagues didn’t care what they ate, as long as it was quick and convenient. That’s when the idea sparked: Why not let AI handle meal selection and delivery? From that day, I started shaping the vision of LunchBot.
